First Day of School

Today was Ellie's first day of school! I can't believe they're all in school now. Ellie is so excited about playing "Babies" at school and asked if I was "going to leave?" I said Yes and asked if that was ok and she said, YES! She walked right in with her bucket, no problem and no looking back. I had to follow her to get a hug, but I even got a big kiss too. She found a friend right off and washed her hands herself. My little girl will always be my baby, but she's getting big!

The boys had their first day of school a few weeks ago. These two buddies loved going to the same school. They love playing together at school when they see each other and have become even better friends. I love seeing them together and their love for each other.

Fourth and More!

Cousins are so much fun! It's always an added bonus to add a party to it. My nephew Conner turned three while he was here so we celebrated the 4th and Conner. My boys love Conner and always want to include him in all the "boy" things, but they love Grace just as much. They'd let her pull and grab on them and just say, "She likes it." Believe me, if their sister did anything remotely close to that they'd scream to high heaven! Grace seemed to like this game and would reward Daniel with a laugh. For the 4th we had family games of frisbee, three legged races, and of course a water fight. This was our photo finish for our three legged race. We almost won, but Grandma and Daniel surged ahead narrowly defeating us.
Our water fight started with the the little guns, but eventually progressed to water balloons. The saying, "I'm water and you're glue....something, something off of me and stick to you" seemed to hold true for those water balloons. They would either bounce off of people or break in the throwers hands. I love this picture of Ellie and Conner. They truly love each other and were so cute together. Conner was up for whatever Ellie wanted to play and Ellie loved being around him. It was the sweetest thing.Without coordinating it, the girls wore stripes and the boys wore solids. Of course we had to take a picture! :-) I love this one of Katie and me and our girls. A bit late, but I hope your Fourth was fun and your summer is as well. I'd love to hear how you all spent yours!

Anniversary

Yes, It's that time of year again. This year it was some Tango and Dinner. You heard right...Tango - Eric does a pretty mean tango. I'm usually the one to wants to dance and although I also suggested this, Eric was game for it and showed me around the dance floor. He's pretty amazing for just learning it and I was estatic to hang out with my super-sweet-hunky man! Love ya!

Luke's Baseball Debut

This was Luke's first year of T-ball and guess who played for???? The Rockies! You can probably imagine how excited I was about all of this. Or maybe you can't, but I was THRILLED! Now if only I can convince Daniel's team they need to be the Rockies....

Guess who else was thrilled? Yep, Poppa!
Luke sees someone taking pictures!

His throw to first.

Now his run to first. You can see in the background that I'm taking another angle of this picture.

This one pretty much sums up my fun-loving boy! He didn't let waiting to bat keep him from enjoying the time. Why not see if this way fits better? Great job Luke! We love you!

School's Out

Daniel has been out of school for a few weeks but I wanted to share some pictures from the day. Instead of graduation they say "Aloha" to Kindergarten and therefore we had a Luau party. It was fun to see the kids as they sang to us and then the teacher shared a bit about each child.
Daniel got many hugs and a lei from his teachers. He also had plenty of hugs from his siblings. I took mostly video so the pictures aren't as good because I wanted to record the day. These are a few of the pictures we got.
Luke's sad that school is ending. It means the end of playing with all the siblings while the moms chat away before and after school. I'm actually missing it myself!
As a last goodbye they all signed eachother's beach balls. Daniel~ we're so proud of you! You're teacher said you could be counted on to do whatever she said and that you were very observant of your surroundings. You made many friends and she was glad to have you in her class. We are so amazed to see how much you have learned and excited for what's next. We love you! Aloha to Kindergarten and Hello 1st Grade!
