Luke's Baseball Debut

This was Luke's first year of T-ball and guess who played for???? The Rockies! You can probably imagine how excited I was about all of this. Or maybe you can't, but I was THRILLED! Now if only I can convince Daniel's team they need to be the Rockies....

Guess who else was thrilled? Yep, Poppa!
Luke sees someone taking pictures!

His throw to first.

Now his run to first. You can see in the background that I'm taking another angle of this picture.

This one pretty much sums up my fun-loving boy! He didn't let waiting to bat keep him from enjoying the time. Why not see if this way fits better? Great job Luke! We love you!

School's Out

Daniel has been out of school for a few weeks but I wanted to share some pictures from the day. Instead of graduation they say "Aloha" to Kindergarten and therefore we had a Luau party. It was fun to see the kids as they sang to us and then the teacher shared a bit about each child.
Daniel got many hugs and a lei from his teachers. He also had plenty of hugs from his siblings. I took mostly video so the pictures aren't as good because I wanted to record the day. These are a few of the pictures we got.
Luke's sad that school is ending. It means the end of playing with all the siblings while the moms chat away before and after school. I'm actually missing it myself!
As a last goodbye they all signed eachother's beach balls. Daniel~ we're so proud of you! You're teacher said you could be counted on to do whatever she said and that you were very observant of your surroundings. You made many friends and she was glad to have you in her class. We are so amazed to see how much you have learned and excited for what's next. We love you! Aloha to Kindergarten and Hello 1st Grade!

Photography

Luke likes the camera either in front or behind it. He can get very clear pictures, and I really enjoy seeing what he is interested in. It's fun to see how much he loves taking his pictures.
Here's one he set up himself. He wanted to show everyone that he can fish and take pictures.
This one is ode to Grandpa L. :-)

Happy Birthday

Luke had a fun water party. We had two sl-p-n-sl-des and sprinklers galore. The kids ran around and had a grand time getting soaked! We're glad we could celebrate our big guy!

I love these cuties!

I made these sunflower cupcakes with ladybugs on them. Ladybugs have been quite the hit lately and since we were having fun in the "sun" what better way then to make sunflower cupcakes (with bugs on them of course)!

Ice, Ice, B-by!
Need a drink of water? No problem, it's a ready water fountain too.

Luke and one of his best buddies checking out cars. Happy Birthday Luke!
